Arrived in San Francisco on Tuesday at god knows what time. Had been up for almost 48 hours at that point and wasn't in any fit state to raise my arm and look at my watch. Got settled into the apartment (i.e. dumped bags) and promptly passed out. Next day was all business, visited Irish Immigration for orientation, set up bank account (much less of a pain than Ireland) etc.. No particular news other than that.
